Anti-Aging
As we age, we increasingly become victims of diseases that are a result of our heredity and daily behavior. New research suggests that much of the physical and mental deterioration that was previously accepted as normal for older people can be prevented, or even reversed.

Recent research is increasingly focused on the phytochemicals and essential fatty acids in certain foods as a preventative measure against age-related degenerative diseases. The following daily meal supplies most neccessary phytochemicals and fatty acids:

1 cup spinach

1 cup cauliflower

1 cup tomato sauce

1 clove garlic

1 serving whole wheat pasta (all of the above cooked in water)

1 cup citrus

1 cup purple grapes or grape juice

1 cup blueberries (the above served raw or defrosted from frozen)

2 cups green tea

1 6 ounce can white tuna in water (essential fatty acids)

1 multivitamin, 1 calcium/magnesium supplement,1 tablet of 80mg aspirin, 1 glucosamine/chondriatin supplement

Other proactive measures to prevent or reverse aging include 1-2 hours exercise daily (must include weights, aerobics, and stretching as a balanced program), a short period of meditation for a healthy heart, and a short session of daily mental gymnastics such as learning a new skill or foreign language, and 8 hours of sleep.

Current research suggests that certain new supplements may reverse or delay physiological aging. These include the astounding results from HGH and HGH precursors such as Keytropin. Other supplements which are encouraging longevity researchers are deprenyl, DHEA, and melatonin.
